De Beers...
Diamonds Could Be Cheap.

De Beers wants us to believe that diamonds are rare and valuable.
one unconfirmed rumor suggested that during
the depression in the 1930s ,
the market was so bad that De Beers considered dumping huge amounts of diamonds into the ocean. In magazines, advertisements, movies, songs, and music videos support De Beers message by talking about how much they love diamonds. But they don't talk about where they come from.

BAG THE BAGS

You know what many people don't know
is that all of the plastic bags that we buy
never deteriorate. They stay on earth forever.

This is bad because a lot of it ends up in the ocean
and when sea animals eat it they can get sick and they can die.

What we can do is use duffel bags instead of plastic bags
when we go to the store or super market. It helps the environment.
And if your one of those people that says
"well i don't even care about the environment, it's stupid",
then see how much you care when global warming kills you
because you used plastic bags.
So bag the bags.

Don't Forget

My heart sank as they walked out the door.
i smiled and said
"goodbye",
trying to hold back the tears in my eyes.
I felt guilty
for having let everything go
unsaid.
I couldn't tell them how i felt
cause they wouldn't understand.
I didn't want to accept the fact
that i may never see them again.
I'm afraid that i'll forget them.
But I'm more afraid that they'll forget me.
